Love of nature inspires my paintings of floral and landscape themes. There is an infinite challenge in attempting to capture light, motion, and emotion into an image that ultimately breathes a life of its own.

My style  inspired by the Impressionists is a modern painterly approach. Study and experience, travel to Europe, the Middle East  & Asia has broadened my vision.  For many years I have  been a studio painter using primarily acrylics, but recently I've also been intrigued with the joy (and challenges) of oil painting en plein air along the rivers and countryside of Virginia.

My work can be found in many public and private collections.
